StartFragmentWinners of The Ajou Excellent Paper Award are selected in consideration of the level of journals in which research papers are published. The University has grouped the journals into different categories according to their Impact Factor (IF) and awards the papers that are authored by the University professors and published in the journals. There are a total of five categories: 'World-class' are those with 30 or higher IF; 'Gold' are those whose IF is in the top 1 percent; 'Silver' are those whose IF is in the top 3 percent; 'Bronze 1' are those whose IF is in the top 5 percent; and 'Bronze 2' are those whose IF is in the top 10 percent.
